This multi-surface soft sled is specially designed for use with a treadmill of on common indoor surfaces. Made of heavy duty ballistic nylon it is strong and durable. It also has an abrasion resistant rubber surface on one side which produces a drag coefficient similar to dragging a weight outside in grass or turf (the historical method of using Hipsetter). This allows Hipsetter to be used while walking on very smooth surfaces without requiring the use of heavier weights. For use on non-smooth indoor surfaces like carpet or turf you simply turn the sled over to the opposite side.
